Privacy policy on the processing of personal data (articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 679/2016) for the www.polis.it website owned by POLIS MANIFATTURE CERAMICHE S.p.A.
This report on the policies for handling personal data by POLIS MANIFATTURE CERAMICHE S.p.A. has the purpose of accurately describing how personal data of users is processed.
This policy does not apply to other websites that can be consulted by means of our links.
MAIN DEFINITIONS

Usage data: means all information collected automatically by means of this Application (or applications of third parties that this application uses), amongst which: IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to this Application, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier), the time at which a query was made, the method adopted for submitting a query to the server, the dimensions of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server (completed, error, etc.), the country of origin, the characteristics of the browser and operating system of the user, time-related information of the visit (for instance the time one remains on each page), details relating to the sequence of pages opened within the Application, and other parameters relating to the operating system and environment adopted by the user.
User: means the subject that makes use of the services offered on the website or that simply browses the website's page (identical to the data subject).
Data subject: the natural person to which the personal data refer.
Data Controller: means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data; where the purposes and means of such processing are determined by Union or Member State law, the controller or the specific criteria for its nomination may be provided for by Union or Member State law.
This Application or Platform or Website: the hardware or software tool through which users' personal data are collected.
THE DATA CONTROLLER

(hereinafter also “Organisation”) with registered office and production facilities in via Pavesa, 24 - 46023, Bondeno di Gonzaga (Mantova) - Sales and administration headquarters in via Sallustio, 15 - 41123, Modena - VAT n° 01806870208, as Data Controller, under the provisions of Regulation (EU) 679/2016, “on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data”, hereby informs you that processing of your data will be fair, lawful and open so as to protect your confidentiality and rights.
REPRESENTATIVE OF THE DATA CONTROLLER
There is no Representative of the Data Controller within this Organisation since it is not necessary under the provisions of the Regulation itself.
PERSON IN CHARGE OF DATA PROTECTION
There is no Person in charge of data protection (also known as Data Protection Officer - DPO) within this Organisation since it is not necessary under the provisions of the Regulation itself.
PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING
The purposes for handling your personal data are different but they are all characterised by the will to fulfil your requirements and will only be implemented further to your free consent.
In particular:
a) “CONTACTS” page: to ask for information on new products and/or services by sending an email to the indicated addresses or by filling in the contact form, as well as to subscribe to the newsletter to receive information by email and/or phone on new products and/or services.
b) “WORK WITH USE” page: to take advantage of the possibility to establish a working relationship with our company by filling in the dedicated form. It is also possible to upload additional files concerning one's curriculum vitae.
c) “SUBSCRIBE TO OUR NEWSLETTER” page, to have the possibility to receive by email and/or phone information about our new products and/or services.
Please remember that if you explicitly and voluntarily submit your data by email to the addresses indicated on the website, through the "CONTACTS" link or by sending your curriculum through the "WORK WITH US" section, you allow us to acquire said personal data; we therefore advise our users not to send either names or personal data of third parties, unless this is strictly necessary, or special and/or judicial data, under the provisions of articles 9 and 10 of the Regulation (EU) 679/2016.
LEGAL BASIS AND LAWFULNESS OF PROCESSING
Making reference to the lawfulness of processing, please find here below the legal bases on which they are based:
a) for the purposes of point 4., letters from a) to c) of this privacy policy, handling of your personal data is only possible upon receiving your explicit consent (art. 6, paragraph 1, letter a) of the Regulation). By sending emails to the addresses indicated on the website, you give your consent.
PROCESSING METHODS
Processing takes place by adopting the security, technical and organisational measures that are suitable, as set forth in article 32 of the Regulation. All data are handled using information systems and, if necessary, by means of hard copy databases. We make use of advanced technologies and procedures to protect personal data against the above mentioned risks.
RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED
The recipients of personal data processed for the purposes described above include only the data controller of this Organisation, its employees and direct co-operators. Personal data is only processed for the services requested by the user unless disclosure is necessary to fulfill legal obligations, and to fulfil the requests of the user.
In order to correctly manage the service, processing for web services of these domains take place by means of Femar Consulting S.r.l. with registered office invia Giuseppe Garibaldi, 51 - 25087 Salò (BS) - VAT N°02448940987that provides hosting services by means of the company IRIDEOS S.p.A. with registered office in Viale L. Bodio, 37 - Bodio 3 - 20158 Milan - VAT n°09995550960. Femar Consulting S.r.l., owner of the services located at IRIDEOS, has been appointed by our Organisation as processor (under the provisions of article 28 of the Regulation (EU) 679/2016), and guarantees the implementation of all security measures set forth in art. 32 of the Regulation for protection of data.
TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES
No transfer of your data is envisaged to third countries or international organisations outside the European Union (articles 44-49 of the Regulation). The data centre where data is kept is in Italy, in Via Caldera 21, Milan.
HOW LONG PERSONAL DATA IS STORED
Personal data will only be stored for the time necessary for the purposes described herein, unless longer term storage is requested for requirements of the laws in force.
a) For the purposes of handling described in Point 4., letters from a) to c)
of this privacy policy, and only upon receiving your specific consent, data will be stored for the time necessary for the service requested or for the resulting contractual relationship. If contacts result in a formal contractual relationship, your data will be stored as envisaged by the laws and standards in force concerning accounting, tax-related and administrative documents, and concerning work relationships.
As far as the purposes described in Point 4, letter b) are concerned, should no work relationship be established, data will be erased, unless we receive other indications, within 24 months.
THE DATA SUBJECTS’ RIGHTS
As data subject, you have the right to obtain from the Data Controller access, erasure, communication, updating, amendment, right to object, integration, restriction, portability, communication of a personal data breach and, in general, possess all the rights mentioned in article 13 and subsequent articles of EU Regulation 679/2016.

RIGHT TO WITHDRAW CONSENT
You may withdraw your consent to processing of the personal data set forth in Point 4. letters from a) to c) of this privacy policy at any moment by contacting

SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY
You have the right to lodge complaints to the competent supervisory authority, namely the Italian "Garante della privacy" should you believe that your rights concerning data protection are at risk.
CONSEQUENCES OF A REFUSAL TO REPLY
Making references to the purposes set forth in point 4., letters from a) to c) of this privacy policy, the user's provision of personal data is not of a "MANDATORY" nature but is, on the other hand, voluntary (e.g. asking for information by means of the “CONTACTS” service).
AUTOMATED INDIVIDUAL DECISION-MAKING
Your data will not be inserted in any automated individual decision-making process.
SOCIAL NETWORK BUTTONS
The data controller uses social network buttons on its website. These are digital buttons namely direct links to social network platforms. By clicking on these links, you may interact directly with the accounts (social network pages) of the data controller. Managers of the social networks that these buttons give access to are independent data controllers.
